Monday evening            6.30pm - last order 9.00pm

Wednesday lunch           noon - last order 2.30pm

Friday evening               6.30pm - last order 9.00pm

Saturday evening           6.30pm - last order 9.00pm

Sunday lunch                 noon - last order 2.30pm

The above opening times are for guests who do not stay over night with us. We provide dinner to our houseguests (and to their family and friends who wish to join them from the outside), six evenings a week. Please let us know if you wish to dine with us, especially if you stay during the weekend. (La Fosse is closed on Sunday evenings after Sunday lunch service)

Please note that we are a husband and wife team, with a relaxed, peaceful and comfortable Restaurant with Rooms (6 bedrooms), offering delicious, cooked to order British food made with local, fresh and seasonal produce. If you are looking for a large, vibrant, Gastro type environment, then we are sadly not the right establishment for you.

Two course meal £19.95 and Three course meal £24.95 for lunch and dinner

Special requirements: We are happy to cater for vegan, vegetarian, celliac, etc... but we need advance notice please, (ideally a few days before your arrival), so that we can prepare a menu tailored to your dietary requirement.

Should there be specific items you like or dislike (for example: prefer oat milk to soja milk, please give us a few days notice, so that we can ensure to have your preferred item in stock)

For parties of 8 to 25 guests, why not speak to us. If you have a particular date in mind, we are often able to accommodate for lunch and dinner, outside our usual restaurant opening times. Please note that for parties we ask for a pre order

Food Philosophy:

Purchasing our produce from fine, top of the range suppliers is very important to us. For example Cranborne Estate with its White
Park cattle and free range pigs are just around the corner from us.

Our restaurant offers the finest of locally sourced produce from the surrounding area, in a calm and informal atmosphere. We are proud of our produce (30 miles radius) and our wonderful suppliers. Mark's excellent cooking is Traditional British with a dash of International and he enjoys bringing back the old favorites!
