Restaurant Opening Times to the Public

Monday evening            7 pm - last order 9.00pm

Friday evening               7 pm - last order 9.00pm

Saturday evening           7 pm - last order 9.00pm

Sunday lunch                 noon - last order 2.00pm

Parties of 8 to 25, we open up anytime for lunch or dinner.

The above opening times are for guests not staying overnight with us. We provide dinner to our houseguests (and to their family and friends who wish to join them from the outside), six evenings a week.

Credit Cards / Payment: After your lunch or dinner at La Fosse, when we present you the final bill, we accept cash, cheques and debit cards. Any credit card payments, we charge 3% on top of the total bill.

Parking: La Fosse is on the village Square of Cranborne. Parking is anywhere on the street. No restrictions (yellow lines) apply in the village. Please do not park in the Estate Office car park! This does not belong to us.

Please note that we are a husband and wife team, with a small, relaxed, peaceful and comfortable Restaurant with Rooms (6 bedrooms), offering delicious, cooked to order British food made with local, fresh and seasonal produce. If you are looking for a large, vibrant, Gastro type environment, then we are sadly not the right establishment for you.

For parties of 8 to 25 guests, why not speak to us. If you have a particular date in mind, we are often able to accommodate for lunch and dinner, outside our usual restaurant opening times.

Special requirements: We are happy to cater for vegan, vegetarian, celliac, etc... but we need advance notice please, (ideally a few days before your arrival), so that we can prepare a menu tailored to your dietary requirement.

Purchasing our produce from fine, top of the range suppliers is very important to us.

Our restaurant offers the finest of locally sourced produce from the surrounding area, in a calm and informal atmosphere. We are proud of our produce (35 miles radius) and our wonderful suppliers. Please see our suppliers list. Mark's excellent cooking is Traditional British with a dash of International and he enjoys bringing back the old favorites!
